For me the core of Wild Swarm is the slow build towards Swarm Mode. Every bee symbol that lands in the base game flies into the hive above the reels and leaves a wild behind, so you always feel some progress. I like that sessions have a rhythm. Small wins and Pick features keep you ticking along while you wait for the hive to explode and the sticky wild chaos to start.

Theme and Graphics in Wild Swarm

The forest setting in Wild Swarm works far better than I expected from screenshots. The reels sit in front of trees with sunlight poking through and leaves drifting down, while wooden frames and carved card symbols make the whole screen feel consistent. Cartoon bees whizz around when they land and the Swarm Mode animation livens things up nicely. On my phone the interface scales well and the visuals stay sharp, so I am happy grinding it on the go.

How to Play Wild Swarm

When you open Wild Swarm you get the familiar Push Gaming layout with the spin button on the right and bet controls on the left. I usually pick a stake then use space bar spins on desktop, or just tap the main button on mobile. Wins pay from left to right on the 20 lines and you need three of a kind or more, apart from the golden dollar symbol which pays from two.

Autoplay lets you set up to 100 spins, but I prefer doing batches of 50 so I can judge how the slot is behaving. The 97.03 percent RTP looks very friendly, yet the bee collection and features mean balance can swing about. I tend to use lower stakes while building the hive, then edge the bet up a notch if the meter is already high when I sit down.

Symbols and Paytable in Wild Swarm

The paytable in Wild Swarm is quite clear once you have spun a bit. At the low end you have wooden J, Q, K and A symbols, paying around 2x to 3x your stake for five of a kind. The premium symbols are two flowers, a honey pot, the queen bee and the golden dollar sign dripping with honey. That last one tops the line wins with 30x for five on a payline.

Regular wilds appear as Honey Wild symbols and simply stand in for any paying symbol apart from scatters and chests. They do not have their own pay, which suits this game because the big money comes from how many wilds you can stack during free spins. In bonus rounds you also see Sticky Wilds, pictured as a bee stuck in the honey frame, and these stay locked in place until the feature ends.

The bright beehive icon is your scatter in Wild Swarm. Landing three, four or five anywhere brings 7, 10 or 14 free spins, with sticky wilds active from the first spin. Bee symbols in the base game fly into the hive and leave a Honey Wild behind, feeding the Swarm meter. On top of that you have pink and yellow chest symbols, which trigger the Pick feature with instant prizes and feature upgrades.

Bonus Features and Swarm Mode in Wild Swarm

The Pick feature in Wild Swarm is one of my favourite little side games. When a chest lands, the screen switches to five honeycomb tiles. You see the prizes briefly, they flip over and shuffle, then you pick one. In the base game that can be a cash win up to 200x, regular free spins, Swarm Mode, or a hive level up that pushes the Swarm meter forward. During bonuses the options tilt more towards extra spins and wild upgrades.

Free spins from scatters play a lot like Swarm Mode, just without the guaranteed wilds at the start. Sticky wilds that land stay for the full round, and chests can still appear. They may add more free spins or trigger enhancements such as shifting sticky wilds that move left, or expanding sticky wilds that grow to cover a whole reel. When the hive finally explodes into Swarm Mode, you get 10 sticky wild spins with several wilds already on the grid.

RTP, Variance and Payout Potential in Wild Swarm

I rate Wild Swarm very highly on pure stats. The default RTP sits at 97.03 percent, which is above most modern slots, although some casinos can run lower versions so I always check the game info panel first. Volatility feels bang on medium to high. You can grind smaller wins while collecting bees, yet the sticky wild rounds carry proper hit potential, with observed wins around 3,000 times your bet and theoretical figures near 3,100x.
